====== Chewy Snickerdoodles ======
I don't really like the snickerdoodles that hold a mounded shape and dry out fast. These are nice and chewy, like a good sugar cookie with more interesting flavor. From https://www.modernhoney.com/the-best-snickerdoodle-cookie-recipe/

===== Ingredients =====
  *1 c softened butter
  *1 1/2 c sugar
  *2 eggs
  *2 t vanilla
  *2 3/4 c flour
  *1 1/2 t cream of tartar
  *1/2 t baking soda
  *1 t salt

Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:

  *1/4 c sugar
  *1 1/2 T cinnamon

===== Directions =====
  - Preheat oven to 350F
  - Cream butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and cream 1-2 more minutes.
  - Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt just to combine. Maybe wrap and chill 20-30 minutes.
  - Prepare cinnamon sugar mixture for rolling
  - Make small balls, coat well, and dimple the center to keep it from puffing up too much
  - Bake 9-11 minutes and let cool for a few minutes before removing from pan
