====== Pureed Black Beans ======
These are from //Straight From the Earth//, tucked into a recipe for plantain tacos. They're great in a taco with fried plantains, mango salsa, and guac - but also great in general. 

===== Ingredients =====
  * 1/4 cup olive oil
  * 1 small onion
  * 2 bay leaves
  * 4 large cloves garlic
  * 2 tsp cumin
  * 2 tsp oregano
  * 1 tsp salt
  * ~3 cups/2 cans black beans
  * 3 tbsp tomato paste

===== Directions =====
  - Dice the onion and sautee in the oil with the bay leaves until soft. Mince the garlic.
  - Add garlic, spices and salt. Cook for a minute or two.
  - Add the beans, tomato paste, and 1/2 cup water. Cook a few minutes, until most of the liquid evaporates.
  - Remove the bay leaves and puree.
