Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients, mix before if you’re feeling fancy.
Chill 2 hours if you can stand it. Preheat oven to 375F.
Roll balls of dough around blobs of caramel, trying to seal it in. Gently roll the filled ball in sugar and place on a baking sheet with grease or nonstick.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
