Yea, I was searching for the Whoopie Pie recipe and I found this gem. My mom loved me a lot! But this recipe was too much work and she almost never made it for me. I'm still in therapy. This goes on a chocolate cake from a mix - it is *sublime*! I have no clue where we got the recipe.

• 3 T flour
• 1 cup milk

• 1 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1/4 tsp vanilla

1. Cook the flour and milk until it is thick
2. refrigerate for 30 minutes

1. mix in bowl: sugar, shortening, vanilla
2. add flour/milk mixture and beat until it is the consistency of whipped cream
